What it does
ZeroClaw is an open-source personal AI agent that runs as one lightweight Rust binary on your own machine, from a laptop or homelab to a Raspberry Pi or a cloud VM. You bring your own model key or a local model, connect chat apps like Telegram, WhatsApp, Slack, Signal, Discord, iMessage or email, and run its gateway and daemon so the agent keeps answering in the background. It starts in supervised mode: it asks before medium-risk actions, blocks high-risk ones, runs inside OS sandboxes, and can stamp every tool call with a cryptographic receipt. There is no ZeroClaw cloud and no subscription.
- One native Rust binary, starts in milliseconds
- 30+ chat channels behind one agent loop
- 70+ AI model providers, hosted or local
- Supervised autonomy and OS sandboxes by default
- Optional HMAC-signed tool receipts
- Runs on a Raspberry Pi and microcontroller boards
- Runs 24/7 as a daemon on your own machine
- Reached from 30+ chat apps
