What it does

Opposable lets an AI agent use a real phone the way you do. Install the free Android app, turn it on in Accessibility settings, and Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or any MCP client can open your apps, read the screen, tap, swipe and type, signed in as you; it also works as a connector inside the Claude and ChatGPT apps. When no outside model is connected, its own on-device agent runs on the phone: about 40 everyday tasks (alarms, reminders, calendar, calls and texts, camera, settings) need no model at all, and a small screen model handles any other app without sending the screen to a server. Things Claude does once can be saved as routines the phone replays on its own, and anything that looks like a payment waits for your Approve tap. iPhones work through Opposable for Mac (beta), which drives the phone as a Bluetooth keyboard and pointer, and there are rented cloud Android phones for people with no spare phone. Opposable is a Reval Labs project run by 100x Ventures OÜ, a company registered in Estonia; it posted its on-device agent on Hacker News on October 21, 2026.
