What it does

Octomind is an open-source (Apache 2.0) AI coding agent made by Muvon, a small bootstrapped software company. It is a single Rust binary that reads and edits your repo, runs shell commands, searches code and hands work to sub-agents, on any model you choose: Claude, GPT, Gemini, DeepSeek, local models and more, switchable mid-session. It runs interactively in the terminal, piped into scripts and CI, as a background daemon, or inside editors such as Zed, Neovim and JetBrains. Rules about what it may do live in a config file instead of approval pop-ups, so it can keep working unattended. Octomind Cloud adds hosted agents called octos, each with its own cloud machine, memory and scheduled routines, that you can message from Telegram, Slack or WhatsApp.
