CC

What it does

CC is an experimental AI agent from Google Labs, rebuilt in September 2026 as a shared agent for families and households. It has its own verified Google account, and up to six members choose what to share with it: emails from school, the swim center or the vet, a Drive folder, a calendar, or a photo of a party invite sent over email or Google Chat. Each morning it sends everyone a shared "Your Day Ahead" brief, keeps a family calendar and task list up to date, and with your permission handles chores like filling in registration PDFs, making shopping lists and planning weekly meals. It keeps a shared memory that separates what applies to the whole household from what belongs to one person. Every CC runs on its own isolated cloud computer with Google's latest Gemini models. It only responds to group members and won't act or share outside the group without permission. CC is available in the U.S. to people 18+ with a personal Google account, through a waitlist.
