What it does

MausBot (also called OpenMausBot) gives you a team of bots in a chat app on your own machine. Each bot gets a job, a model such as Claude Code or Codex, and a computer to use; they run tasks and schedules in parallel and check in when something needs your yes. Free and open source; optional cloud plans keep bots working with your laptop closed.

  • Apache 2.0 open source
  • Runs on Claude Code, Codex and more
  • Cloud desktop per bot
  • Approvals before actions
  • Team of bots
  • Uses its own computer
  • Scheduled routines
