What it does

Atticus is a free, open-source voice agent for the Mac, built by Saarth Ranka. You hold Control-Option-Space, say what you need and let go. It opens apps, arranges windows across screens, finds files by what is inside them, reads your screen to answer questions or draft a reply, fills out forms and shops in Chrome behind your other apps, with a live mini screen showing what it does. It asks before it buys, sends or deletes anything. Simple asks like opening an app skip the AI entirely, and things you ask for twice become learned shortcuts. The rest runs on the Claude Pro or Max plan you already have through Claude Code (or a Devin plan), so there is no API key. It remembers what you tell it and can send background agents for bigger jobs.
